The Owners of this downtown Miami Loft hired 2+ Architects for the Interior Renovation of their home. 2+ worked closely with them to achieve a design that united their love of clean, open spaces with the security, convenience and comfort of a Smart Home.

Entering the ground floor of the Loft, the naturally stained, sustainable, bamboo hardwood floors lead you to a staircase of the same material which previously obscured the view to the living area and outside cityscape. Additionally, the bedroom wall upstairs was removed and replaced with cable railing. By removing the stair railing and upstairs wall, the fish-spine stair opened up clearer views and added an illusion of more space and light, while the upstairs bedroom took advantage of the double height space and gained a grand city view. The renovations also included an integrated A/C closet and bathroom sliding barn door system. The master bath was remodeled to include a sink which was integrated to look like a part of the built- in furniture and custom closet space was added.

The 2+ design integrated smart technology systems on devices that can be monitored or controlled via smartphone, tablet or computer. This included window coverings, A/C, lighting and sound systems.
